Pimento Berries & Tahitian Vanilla

This behaved perfectly in CP soap. It does discolor to a deep, rich brown. I believe the carrot note was intriguing to customers as most purchased one bar in an order. On their next orders they were snagging multiples. I will definitely be purchasing this again. I left the soap batter uncolored, choosing to add interest to the top with an impression mat and mica.

Earthy, spicy, woody, dense, lux—and carrot! In a soy/beeswax blend after 2wk cure, CT is awesome, but the floral spiciness is a bit subdued. This is one to let sit and forget, and then come back to unearth a prize. On first burn, HT is strong in sm/med room in 464/WBW at 8% and may be overpowering for a sensitive nose. Earthy, spicy, floral, vanilla carrot cake is all present, but scent does shift a bit farther in HT, but still a full-bodied, wonderful for autumn/winter. Definitely going on the re-buy list.

I’m in love! I had overlooked this fragrance for the longest time because of the carrot note. Years ago, I made a carrot facial soap using carrot seed essential oil—and while it was a nice product, the scent took on a medicinal tone from the carrorseed EO. After making hundreds of batches, I thought I’d never want to smell anything carrot-related again.

But I’m so glad I gave this a chance. Sampling it was the best decision—it’s an absolute masterpiece! The blend is smooth, sophisticated, and nothing like what I expected. I made a basic body oil with my generous sample....seconds after application all the layers & notes started to unfold. Minutes later I was hooked forever! I immediately purchased a bottle. This beauty lasts for hours and hours on my skin in a simple body oil. I will be making perfume with it today, as well as putting it in every other medium I can think of! Will definitely be back soon for more 🧡🧡🧡

This is definitely a unique fragrance, both spicy and sweet. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I wouldn't consider this a straightforward gourmand, there are so many dimensions! It reminds me of "Rabbit" without the hay. It's not like anything else I've ever owned but the carrot and pimento are most prominent to my nose, followed by the sandalwood and vanilla bean.

I love how sweet and spicy this is!! Very unique fragrance that works best in perfume IMO. Great for late summer/autumn!

Smells similar to the original

Scent Memory is so good and making fragrances that I just want to roll around in. This is no exception. So far I have used it in perfume and it's gorgeous.

For me the vanilla and carrot are the show offs here. Nice fragrance, strong throw cold and hot at 8% in Ceda Serica wax.

Have not smelled the original but this one is spicier than I expected. It could be that the top notes are what come through the most when smelling it out of the bottle and when mixed into a base, the middle and base notes come out more and smooth things out more. Will have to test this one in a candle before I decide.

I absolutely love this scent. I didn’t know what to expect but the carrot actually isn’t what you’d expect. The notes are so well balanced and unique. Definitely worth trying.

Firstly, this is one of those scent that really blossoms once you use it. It's delightful OOB, but it comes to life in applications. A tale of caution, however, comes to soapers. While this is still curing nice and strong, it accelerated and riced. This fragrance will probably be one of those that I need to add to the oils before adding in my lye solution. It may also be useful in a slow moving recipe. I can also tell that this will discolor to a dark brown. I will make it work because I do love how beautiful it is in soap, though.

I absolutely adore this scent. It smells like if carrot cake were personified as a very wealthy, classy, attractive woman.

To me this has a nice earthy scent. I scent potpourri with this so right OOB its get a really unique scent which is natural and strong.

I'm burning a test candle now and after a short cure the HT is already very very good! As it's burning, again after a short cure, I smell more of the vanilla than OOB. Perhaps with a longer cure I'd get some more of the complexity you smell from the bottle. But even as is, it is really quite nice and a very strong, but not too strong, HT.

Just lovely! When someone asks, "What does it smell like?" I have no answer because it's so complex and vivid. It's soft, sultry, and intoxicating. Perfect for women's perfumes and soaps. It does discolor in CP soap but who cares? The smell!

Lordie lordie! This is soooo good! I use soy wax, and if you wait for that 2 week cure, this scent is unbelievable and the hot throw is insane!!! I’m in love

I wanted to like this. I love Byredo scents. I love the name. The notes sound good on paper. But something about this is not right. It’s cloying and kind of sickly sweet. It made a great candle in the sense of good cold and hot throw. I had to put it out though. The scent was filling the room and gagging me.
I tried it in a roll on oil based personal fragrance. After 30 minutes I had to wash it off. It was strong, and had good staying power.
So if you do love this weird scent than great, it’s very cooperative in products. But it’s a nope from me.

I then track it to a small single wick test candle burning in my kitchen. So this scent really travels. Hot throw brings out so much from this fragrance oil. Cold throw is nice as well. This is a must try!!

This fragrance is very different but I love it. At first I could smell a hint of carrot but then it dries down with the spicy sweet notes. It reminds me of a fancy carrot cake but way more complex.

Never in my lifetime would I ever think I'd like scent with carrot as a top note but dear sweet baby Jesus this scent is intoxicating and unique. It's a thrower in wax. I need a metric ton of this stuff and it still wouldn't be enough

I received my first order from the sale on Thursday. I'm beating myself up for not going all out the first time.
Honestly, I'm just here to talk about Seven Veils.
This is my favorite oil and the only one I've put in wax so far. It's sexy and seductive yet there's a familiarity to it kind of like home baking or something. Its very much giving holidays in the Maldives at your rich aunties estate...after dark with plenty of wealthy and sexy bachelors to choose from. 10 out of 10 will always recommend.
I fell in love and just placed another $350 order. I'm too poor for this society 😭😭😭
