I was going to name this one "Strawberry Fields" but it is so much more than that. On its face a sweet, realistic strawberry fragrance, but underneath lurks a bit of chaos - a pinch of sea salt that makes this sweet lovely fragrance just a little dangerous. You likely won't perceive the salty note, but much like a finely crafted dish, you would know if it WASN'T there. 

*Please note, this oil has a tendency to crystallize when exposed to cooler temps. If this occurs, place bottle in a sealable plastic baggie and submerge in hot water until bottle is warmed.

About Fragrance Oil
  • The fragrance oils sold by Scent Memory are a manufacturing product. They are not skin safe on their own and must be diluted prior to use.

What are fragrance oils?

Fragrance oils are synthetic or blended aromatic compounds designed to mimic natural scents or create entirely new ones. Unlike essential oils, which are extracted from plants, fragrance oils are crafted by blending aromatic chemicals and natural extracts. This careful formulation allows for a wide range of scents that may not be possible to achieve with essential oils alone and also allows for greater safety and performance in their applications. 

How Can Fragrance Oils Be Used?

Though they smell beautiful on their own, fragrance oils are a manufacturing product and must be diluted prior to use. They can be formulated for one specific purpose (such as for soap or in a candle) or for a wider range of applications - however, no one fragrance oil will work in ALL applications, so testing your products is a must. The fragrance oils that Scent Memory Fragrance offer are generally formulated to be safe in candle and body care applications. 

Are Fragrance Oils Safe On Their Own?

Just like any concentrated product, care must be used in handling fragrance oils prior to dilution in product. Every fragrance oil product page contains the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) in the "Regulatory Documents" tab. Download and review prior to using the fragrance oil.

  • Fragrance oils are a manufacturing product used in making candles, soap and other products. They must be diluted before use.
  • Refer to the IFRA tab for maximum skin safety usage rates, and review the IFRA document carefully. 
  • Maximum usage rates refer to skin safety percentages only and are not recommendations for usage rates in products or formulas. Refer to your formula for the recommended usage rate, and do not use the fragrance oil if the IFRA rate is not rated highly enough for use in your product. 
  • Download and review the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) document provided in the IFRA & SDS tab. Follow all safety guidelines recommended. Do not allow contact with skin or ingest. Follow all IFRA guidelines for dilution in product.  Care should be used in handling at all times.

For our Canadian Friends: we highly recommend Shippsy.com as a package forwarder. UPS charges very high brokerage fees and duty on oils even if they are manufactured in the United States. Shippsy will not charge these fees if a commercial invoice showing the oil origin is provided. We are happy to provide this upon request. You are responsible to ensure all import regulations are followed, including documentation and product approval. Scent Memory is responsible only for delivery to a US domestic address and consider orders closed once delivery confirmation is received.

International Shipping: At this time Scent Memory only ships within the United States and its territories. We are responsible only for delivery to a US domestic address and consider orders closed once delivery confirmation is received.

Shipping Policy: Scent Memory ships orders through the United States Postal Service and UPS. All orders are assigned tracking numbers which are transmitted to the customer within 24 hours of shipping.

Orders that are marked as delivered by the shipping carrier are considered complete. Scent Memory is not responsible for stolen or missing packages after the carrier conveys delivered status. Individuals should work with their local post office or UPS location to identify exact location of delivery.

Returned Packages: In the event of a returned package due to undeliverable location, customer refusal or incorrect address, Scent Memory will send the customer and invoice for redelivery. If this is not paid, a refund on the purchase will be made minus the original delivery fee.

This definitely packs a punch! Very strong and lasts well in perfume. It isn’t my personal favorite by itself; it gives me almost strawberry vape vibes with a bitterness I can’t quite put my finger on. I mixed it with Creme de la Creme (a fabulous mixer!!) and that balanced it out enough to make a pleasant scent. If you want edgy, it gives that on its own, but if you want something more delicate or edible I think it works better mixed with something sweet and creamy.

This is a fabulous, candy-like strawberry that is great on it's own or as a blender. I love it! I've tried so many sweet strawberry fragrance oils from different suppliers over the years and disliked them all. This one right here though, this one is it. It's the only one that hasn't assaulted my nose with plasticky artificial notes. I wish I would have tried it sooner. In perfume, it dries down on the skin beautifully. I don't pick up any sea salt, but like the description states, I'm sure it's playing it's role in there somewhere. The musk is delicate, to my nose, and definitely doesn't take away from the sugary strawberry magic that is this scent.

I was searching the googles for the iconic Scottish pop duo 'Strawberry Switchblade' to show a coworker who Chappell Roan reminds me of, and it sent me down a rabbit hole to this fragrance. I am SO thrilled it did! I'm going to be a lifelong customer going forward. This scent very much lives up to it's name. Sweet and innocent but 100% has a bite to it that is so enticing!

I grew up in berry growing country where strawberry fields made up the countryside where I lived, and the strawberry variety that was popular at that time, and still is, was the Hood strawberry. Hoods are
a very sweet and flavorful berry and when picked vine-ripened and sun-sweetened, you’d swear sugar had been liberally added. This strawberry fragrance reminds me of those intensely sweet and delicious berries. The addition of the light salty note is delightful and gives it that little something extra special.

I like this as a stand-alone fragrance, but I could also see it being an excellent blender. Five stars!
Tested very well in c-55 tart wax and B&B products.

Smelled this and was immediately brought back to the 90’s with my collection of Lip Smackers. It smells just like the strawberry one. It’s an almost candy like scent, I don’t get much of the sea salt note OOB but I have it macerating for a body spray and maybe that’ll help the other notes come together. It isn’t my favorite oil but it is a gorgeous scent if you like sweets! May have to blend this with something.

I blended this with Don't Marsh My Mallow and it's fantastic. It blended into a cotton candy fantasy dream scent. On it's own I get strawberry candy, it's nice but not super fresh strawberries. I'll bet it would be great with creme de la creme too!

Not sure about his one. Smells like concentrated strawberry candy to me and pretty cloying. Definitely don't get salt and hard pressed to call it realistic strawberry since unless a strawberry is red thru and thru you're gonna get some of that botanical sharpness. I do think realistic strawberry is practically impossible to achieve but i would say it's a realistic candy scent to me.

This really is much more interesting than I had anticipated! Very well done! It is great as is but with the holidays approaching I can't get out of my head that this would blend very well with some wintery scents to make a really nice winter berry fragrance. So pleasantly surprised!
