Black Plum & Créme De Cassis

Exceptional fragrance. Using this as a blend in my candles and is currently my favorite! Very comforting scent.

Hmmmm, dunno how to describe this beautiful one precisely. Powdery (but not too much) and sweet, and feels pink / purple. Like there is a fruitiness but it maybe comes from a berry note? Made perfumes to test as always, and it is gorgeous and nostalgic for an early 2000s vibe to my nose. One of my favorites, I think I prefer the scent on fabric instead of skin.

I took a bit of a chance on this when I bought it because of the low IFRA rating; I primarily make perfumes and I was concerned about throw and longevity. I have been pleasantly surprised! It is absolutely lovely in perfume despite the rating, although I would be thrilled if this is ever reformulated with a higher rating. It smells divine—instantly takes me back to Christmas as a little girl with my cousins getting glitter body spray in my stocking, but this is like that scent all grown up and it makes me so happy!

I don't know what Sol de Janiero Cheriosa 40 smells like, but smelling this out of the bottle, it reminds me so much of the original Gucci Rush for women. Ironically, I was never a fan of GR but this fragrance oil is sweeter and kinder on my nose. It's a lovely fragrance oil but I wish it was a little stronger. I did just receive it yesterday so it might project better once it settles.

Smells amazing, this is much better than some of the competition on this particular interpretation. I had tried a different brand of this fragrance interpretation and was put off for about a year, thinking I just wasn't going to like anything similar. But SM did a better job with this FO than some of the competition and it turns out that I do love it, so I'm glad I gave it a chance!

Very rich and decadent plum that doesn't lean towards a "christmas" vibe. The creme de cassis compliments the plum wonderfully and the light woods add just the right amount of freshness. Perfect for a day to night perfume.

A top seller for me in body spray, lotion, and scrubs! People love it and come back for more!

This is so fantastic in CP soap. The scent retention is beyond expectation, and so good in lotion. Someone mentioned the IFRA is to low for perfume, but I made rollerball perfume with (MCT) oil and it performed well. Customers love it!!

Wow - this fragrance discolors heavily in soap but is well worth it. I put it in lotion and it’s beautiful.

I like it but customers won’t smell it I will probably have to change the name. For some reason people fear plum but when I get them to smell plum scents they love them. Poor plum lol

This is like Rose & Peppered Plum's younger sister or like when Rose & Peppered Plum goes on a summer vacation. It made a fine soap and a very nice candle with excellent CT/HT

This is a good fragrance, but the IFRA is too low for me to make a parfum.

Very juicy and fruity smelling. Makes me think of the color purple.

This one actually smells like an expensive perfume by Jimmy Choo called Amber Kiss. I tried a dupe oil before of that one and it’s a favorite of a friend of mine. He smelled this and said “I want some as a spray! This is like Amber Kiss!” Black Plum and Cassis is a dry slightly sweet woody/amber like Amber Kiss but with plum added (although the plum is very blended and not prominent to me). It’s not too sweet and would do very well for both men and women. This also smells expensive. Another one that also blends with Creme de la Creme (seriously, this can be blended with almost everything).

Beautiful OOB, all of these amazing fragrances! It makes it very hard to decide which ones to add to my lineup!

This is a beautiful fragrance oil that performed well in my coconut wax candle. At first I was afraid it wouldn’t throw well because the cold throw is there but not super strong. But after my candle had been lit for about half an hour the room was filling with the fragrance and I was so pleased. It is a sweet fruity scent but there is the perfect amount of woody undertones to make it so unique and pretty. I absolutely love it.

When I smelled this OOB, I literally gasped. Such a beautiful plum scent that is dark and fruity. I created a perfume oil with it and I can’t stop smelling myself.

This is a cozy, warm, fruity blend. I haven't smelled the original but this is absolutely lovely for fall.

This scent is intoxicating. It's feminine, sensual, dark, yet, sweet! Crème de cassis is an amazing scent, but I smell the warm vanilla woods, a fresh jasmine and I also detect a hint of musk which makes this a very sophisticated fragrance. This scent is one of my favorites in my perfume line, and it lingers for hours!!! SM...I love you!!!

This is such a good warm fruity scent that I honestly think would do well all year. Would be excellent in a perfume or body mist of course!

OTB, it’s a perfect dupe of Cheriosa 40!! I have the SDJ lotion and it smells just like it. about to throw it into wax melts to see how it performs. I love it already!
