TENNIS ANYONE?

TENNIS ANYONE?

Manicured lawns and blooming linden trees frame the neatly kept tennis courts where players wearing stylish uniforms lob tennis balls over the nets back and forth. This is the fragrance of a summer day at the courts.

About Fragrance Oil
  • The fragrance oils sold by Scent Memory are a manufacturing product. They are not skin safe on their own and must be diluted prior to use.
  • Our oils are formulated to generally work in candle and body care applications, but must be tested for compatibility in your product.
  • Due to the concentration of the oils safety precautions must be taken when handling them.

What are fragrance oils?

Fragrance oils are synthetic or blended aromatic compounds designed to mimic natural scents or create entirely new ones. Unlike essential oils, which are extracted from plants, fragrance oils are crafted by blending aromatic chemicals and natural extracts. This careful formulation allows for a wide range of scents that may not be possible to achieve with essential oils alone and also allows for greater safety and performance in their applications.

How Can Fragrance Oils Be Used?

Though they smell beautiful on their own, fragrance oils are a manufacturing product and must be diluted prior to use. They can be formulated for one specific purpose (such as for soap or in a candle) or for a wider range of applications - however, no one fragrance oil will work in ALL applications, so testing your products is a must. The fragrance oils that Scent Memory Fragrance offer are generally formulated to be safe in candle and body care applications.

Are Fragrance Oils Safe On Their Own?

Just like any concentrated product, care must be used in handling fragrance oils prior to dilution in product. Every fragrance oil product page contains the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) in the "Regulatory Documents" tab. Download and review prior to using the fragrance oil.

Safety Information
  • Fragrance oils are a manufacturing product used in making candles, soap and other products. They must be diluted before use.
  • Refer to the IFRA tab for maximum skin safety usage rates, and review the IFRA document carefully.
  • Maximum usage rates refer to skin safety percentages only and are not recommendations for usage rates in products or formulas. Refer to your formula for the recommended usage rate, and do not use the fragrance oil if the IFRA rate is not rated highly enough for use in your product.
  • Download and review the SDS (Safety Data Sheet) document provided in the IFRA & SDS tab. Follow all safety guidelines recommended. Do not allow contact with skin or ingest. Follow all IFRA guidelines for dilution in product.  Care should be used in handling at all times.

DISCLAIMER: The fragrance oils sold by Scent Memory are a manufacturing component and not a finished product. Scent Memory is not responsible for any products made from materials purchased from the site, nor do we guarantee the performance or safety of the end product. Proper testing and ensuring compatibility of all materials the is the responsibility of the purchaser. We always recommend purchasing the smallest amount of product available and testing before committing to a larger size.

Subtle but nice

When my daughter smelled this burning in a candle, she thought it smelled like a Barbie Doll. She’s right. It isn’t a heavy fragrance but it’s very nice!

Shhhhtop! Another one that I slept on and it was gone. I grabbed up a bottle recently when yall brought it back and it’s seriously so good. I used to carry IA in my shop years ago and this was a favorite of mine back then. Kudos to the nose. Thank you!

Im glad this scent came back. I was always too hesitant to buy it before, figuring it would be too niche to sell well for me. I thought who wants to smell tennis balls? When it came back from the archives I finally decided to see what it is like. I am so glad I did. It's fresh & green & bright. I agree with other reviews that it reminds you of being outside but its outside on a bright, beautiful day. I really like Linden trees and that is.what I get from this. Bright and refreshing. I do not get tennis balls. Even trying really hard to keep that in mind. It's been a long time since opening a new can so maybe I dont remember. My point is, don't let the tennis ball note prevent you from trying this. It's so much more & nicer than I had imagined!

This scent is the most magical, green, ivy-y scent in the world and it's half of a custom blend I do for a local bookshop. It's amazing and beautiful and complex and wonderful and I've never smelled anything like it in my entire life.

To me, this scent screams, "I'm outside" with hints of linden trees, earthy oak moss, and tennis balls. If you’ve ever sat on a soccer field or watched (or played) tennis on a soft lawn, this scent will bring you back to that time, instantly. It’s a wonderful “outside” scent–both bright green and also grounded. I like it in coconut wax and the scent has a way of gently freshening up a space with a natural scent.

I use this to represent the idea of a sports field, not just tennis. It definitely has that unmistakable tennis ball scent, but is also lovely and grassy. This is a unique perfume note and I love how it smells in candles.

I was not expecting to enjoy this scent, but was really intrigued by the idea of a tennis ball scent. It turns out I really enjoy it and ordered more. It’s very spring-like and fresh and reminds me of an historic homestead hotel and spa I’ve visited several times, “The Homestead” in Virginia. It is a sophisticated scent.

Scent Name Intrigued me!

I picked this scent out to sample in my first order from Scent Memory because of the name and the promise of tennis ball in the notes; my boyfriend played tennis growing up so I thought it would be fun if he could pick out the tennis ball and he sure could OOB! After putting in a candle, the tennis ball smell has gone to the background and I could see this being a really fun perfume! It is very floral heavy scent and I think it is lovely!

Takes me to the Courts and Summertime Fun!

I grew up playing tennis for fun - hours, hours, and hours of playing. This scent is dead on and takes me back to some of my favorite memories! I absolutely love it! While you would not think fresh tennis balls to be something you would want to scent your home with, the pairing of the green notes of this blend makes it a great summery scent and a favorite of mine! It throws brilliantly in a coco/soy blend!

Unmistakable Tennis Ball

I was skeptical of the idea of a scent that smells like tennis ball... but its actually very fun and unique! This is unmistakably a tennis ball fragrance, with that pleasant oakmoss and ivy background. Its not super strong for me OOB or in wax, but is on par with other grassy fragrances I've smelled before. Very interesting in a perfume!

Throws scent!

I just had to light my test candle even though I only made it the day before. So good. The scent is filling a large room and traveling out the door. I don't even have a full melt pool yet. So good!!
